Web Comic - first rough layout

First Rough

So it is definitely going ahead After trying out a few variation we have decided to use a vertical scrolling format and maybe some small animated elements. It is pretty exciting to be working on this again. I won't be showing much more than glimpses now though until the first chapter is ready.

Not dead yet. Talking to a writer about reviving this blog as a bi-weekly web comic. I really liked the style of this work. It would be nice to do something with it. Watch this space . . .

One last thing

The Last Gasp!

This is perhaps the last gasp of this blog. A series of tiresome and complicated reasons precluded me calling time on this project a few months ago. It was a sad decision as there were a lot of good things happening here. The publisher may find another artist to do the project. For my part perhaps Blake and I will hook up again sometime. I have a few ideas about a serialised/strip or web comic. For now I will be focusing on other illustration work rolandtheillustrator.com

Following a few distractions, mostly moving country but also finishing work on Shogun 2, I am now getting back to the drawing board/tablet. I won't be able to show that much for a while but I'll try to keep you updated with the odd panel though.
